Stark-Kroll recruits veteran estate lawyer Aberth

Northeastern Ohio law firm adds to roster of probate and estate attorneys. Akron, Ohio-based legal firm Stark & Knoll has recruited Joel Aberth as Of-Counsel to support its estate-planning and probate practice.

Namesake

Aberth specializes in estate administration, trust administration, estate planning, probate, trust and estate taxation. An attorney for the past 36 years, he comes to Stark & Kroll from Akron-based probate-law and estate planning firm Aberth & Champion.

In February 2007, Stark & Knoll hired Gregory Bean, formerly head of Akron -based FirstMerit Bank's trust and investment unit, to work in its estate-planning and probate division.

Stark & Knoll's practice areas include general corporate affairs, litigation, estate planning and probate, corporate transactions, real estate and commercial leasing, corporate succession planning, taxation, commercial lending, labor and employment law. -FWR
